Where you’ll run it — choose one

  • An LLM workspace that supports custom connectors (e.g., Claude Web/Desktop; ChatGPT with custom connectors), or
  • Your own MCP-compatible agent/client.

How you’ll authenticate — choose one

  • OAuth 2.0 (recommended): Sign in with your GWI login (email/password or SSO). Best for Claude and ChatGPT.
  • Access token: For developer/custom agents that don’t support OAuth.
Rule of thumb: If your LLM supports custom connectors, use OAuth. Use a token only for headless/dev environments.
